To my Mum's and trains in the wild west

We're headed off to cycle around the Outer Hebrides.

Our tour will begin from Castlebay in Barra, but to get there we've a journey of 2 days involving a bit of driving, 8hrs or so on the train and then 5hrs on the Ferry.

The panniers are all packed, about 10kg's each - and now we'll have to repack as we realise that sitting in our cycling gear for a day on the train is a bit unecessary.

We've just had a nice meal at my Mum's where we'll be staying tonight. First thing tomorrow we'll catch the 07:30 from Penkridge to travel up to Oban on the train via Crewe & Glasgow. Fingers crossed for a minimum of bike-on-train related hassle.
